RETREAT INFORMATION

REAP Retreat - Saturday, February 6, 8:45 a.m. (SHARP) until 2:00 p.m.

Students should dress nice casual. Tennis shoes please. Students will be participating in activities that require moving from place to place so, if possible, girls are asked not to bring purses. Hats are not allowed as well as no cell phones, i-pods or other electronic devices. Activities are planned and there is no personal time allotted for these items to be used. Lunch is provided. Lunch will consist of salad, pizza, drinks and dessert.

Parents are to drop students off in front of the gym. Pick up of students will ONLY BE ALLOWED IN THE CAFETERIA.

Doors will NOT be open to allow access to the gym lobby. Parents may wait in the cafeteria or in their cars in the cafeteria parking lot for students - all students will be directed to the cafeteria for pick up. NO EARLY DISMISSALS ARE ALLOWED

Acts 1:8 Weekend Retreat Friday, Feb 19 through Sunday, Feb 21 - Rocky Vine Retreat Center in Dutzow, MO

Students will be dropped off in the cafeteria no later than 6:30 p.m. An informational meeting will be held and detailed permission slips will be required. Meeting will include: emergency contact information -for parents/ how to contact Rocky Vine and for Rocky Vine/who to contact in an emergency, what to wear/bring/etc., food, accommodations, medication and more. Please inform Father Martin of any medical conditions or medications that need to be administered. If you student has special dietary requirements, please advise Tim McMillin at 441-0055 x151 or TMcMillin@stjoecot.org Students will meet their parents in the gathering area of church AFTER the 12:15 p.m. Mass on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 immediately followed by Rite of Election Ceremony in church.


Sun, Feb 21, 2010 Confirmation meeting for students/parents/sponsors 2:00 pm in church - lasts approx 1 1/2 hours

Confirmation 7:30 pm - Church - Students/parents/sponsors should arrive no later than 7:00 pm. Check in at the counter in the gathering area to receive name tags - Lasts approx. 2 hours

Dress Code:

Boys - Dress pants (no cargo pants) shirt and tie, dress shoes - Suit/Sport jackets are optional

Girls - modest dress, suit, blouse, skirt or pants of any color. No halters, backless, or spaghetti straps. Skirts may not be tight or above the knee. Ladies will be modestly covered from their shoulders to their knees.
