Brownie Girl Scouts – are in grades 1-3 or between 6 and 8 years old. Many Brownie Girl Scouts participate in summer day or resident camps. Brownie Girl Scouts are given opportunities to identify their own interests and decide how they will explore those interests. They may go on local overnight trips and can participate in their Council’s annual cookie sale. Brownie Girl Scouts may earn "Try-Its," which contain simple skill building activities. "Try-Its" are patches that may be worn on a uniform vest or sash. The following are some of the organizations in St. Louis that have programs to help Brownies earn Try-it badges.
