Boy Scouts works under the Patrol method. That
means the troop is divided into Patrols of 6-10 boys. Each Patrol has Patrol
leader and Assistant. They are in charge of passing the information onto the
boys in their Patrol and doing the troop planning. The scouts hold elections
twice a year and if you are elected by your peers you hold that position for
six months. You also must go to PLC meetings once a month to help plan the
troop meetings. These are the positions that are held in most troop: Senior Patrol Ass't Sr. Patrol Leader Troop Scribe Quartermaster Chaplains Ais Troop Historian Troop Librarian ![]() Find out more about the patrol method click here |
