Cub Scouts Pack 918

Join us for our next Pack Meeting

We invite all 1st graders through 5th graders to join a fun filled organization!  All parishioners and their children are welcome to join our pack regardless of elementary school attendance.  This youth ministry is a great way to become more involved in our St. Joseph's parish community.

Pack Meetings are generally the 3rd Thursday of each month. Meetings are held in the school cafeteria from 7pm until 8pm. Come join us at our next meeting!

Congratulations Pack 918!!!

Pack 918 is recognized as one of the top Catholic Cub Scout Packs in the St. Louis Archdiocese. The Pack is proud to have earned two prestigious Catholic Scouting Awards for the second consecutive year.  The first award is the Pope Paul VI National Catholic Quality Unit Award.  The second is the Archbishop's and Chaplain's Unit Recognition Award.  These awards recognize the outstanding leadership and commitment to their faith and scout principles by all of the youth and adults of Pack 918.  Both awards were presented to the Pack at the Cathedral Basilica on February 3, 2013.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) council has also awarded Pack 918 Gold Level for the Journey to Excellence Award.  This is the second consecutive year the Pack has received Gold Level for this award.  The Journey to Excellence Award recognizes excellence in providing quality programs at all levels of the BSA.

Please also congratulate Kevin Kruse in earning the Key Scouter award.  This award recognizes noteworthy service of a registered Scouting Unit Committee Member.  This award was presented to Kevin on January 25, 2013

Congrats to everyone involved with Pack 918!!

The Adventure Starts Now!

The adventure starts with Cub Scouting, a year-round family program designed for boys in the 1st through 5th grades, or seven to 10 years of age. A boy may join at any level. Each noncompetitive level has activities to develop the boy at that level.

The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training and personal fitness.

Young boys grow up fast. Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging him to join Cub Scouting today. The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.

Our Mission

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Our Vision
