We Play

Recreation simply means refreshment - physical and mental. Catholic parishes have been an oasis for relaxation since the first Catholic immigrants settled in this area over two hundred years ago. Our ancestors often found comfort in being together, playing sports, preparing a variety of feasts and sharing fellowship.

St. Joseph's parish continues to enjoy many of these traditions of food and friendship, sport and relaxation, craft and cooking. Parishioners young and old can be found most every day of the week spending time in our gym, on our athletic fields, in and around the neighborhood ... simply having a good time.
